From small industry conferences to major public shows that attract mainstream media, there are thousands of events taking place up and down the country over the course of a year. And where there are events, there are stands.

On this page, we’re listing the better known events from the UK, and perhaps a few that are less well known. If you’re in the relevant industries, they’re a great opportunity to showcase your services, or just to show up as a guest. Crufts

1–12 March, Birmingham NEC

The dog-lover’s paradise that is Crufts moved to Birmingham from London in 1991 after 100 years of exhibiting, and it has stayed at this central location ever since. Expect shows, dog-related sales stands and of course the best of breed and best in show awards.

ScotHot

8–9 March, Scottish Event Campus, Glasgow

A major exhibition catering for the food, drink, hospitality and tourism industry, and an absolute must for anyone in the sector, especially those based in Scotland. You’ll get to meet suppliers, a diverse range of businesses and buyers in the industry, whatever part you play in it.

The National Outdoor Expo

18–19 March, Birmingham NEC

All things outdoorsy are covered here, from adrenaline-fuelled thrills to hiking, camping and water sports. With celebs and experts on tap, it’s a great place to exhibit if you’re in the outdoor tourism or health industry.

White Gallery

19–21 March, London ExCeL

The premium exhibition for prestige and luxury fashion, White Gallery brings the top designers to the capital to show off their collections.

International Food and Drink Event

20–22 March, London ExCeL

Representatives of the professional food and drink industry all descend on the IFE to display products, gadgets and business services specific to the sector. Restaurants and catering businesses make it a must-visit event.

British Tourism and Travel Show

22–23 March, Birmingham NEC

As the world starts to get travelling again, this important show brings the industry together to learn about the allure of Britain and Ireland to tourists, and how to make the islands appeal to more visitors from home and abroad.

Naidex

22–23 March, Birmingham NEC

The flagship event for publicising resources for the disabled community, with plenty of inspirational presentations and exhibitors working in the sector. It’s a great place to show if you’re operating in this space.

National Homebuilding & Renovating Show

23–26 March, Birmingham NEC

With millions of homes over 100 years old in the UK, renovating is big business, and with thousands of new homes going up each year, this show is a must-visit if you’re in the domestic construction business, as a builder, designer or manufacturer.

TokFEST

25–26 March, Birmingham NEC

If you don’t know about this show, your kids probably do, because it’s dedicated to the social platform TikTok, with personalities galore exhibiting.

Kickback Motorcycle + Custom Show

8–9 April, Manchester Central

A much-loved festival of two-wheeled delights, with countless custom motorbikes on show, and the kind of devoted fans you’d expect. A great place for motoring businesses to exhibit.

International Franchise Show

14–15 April, London ExCeL

This show is a vital exhibition for entrepreneurs looking to set up a franchise, as well as the companies who offer them. It’s a brilliant place for people to look for opportunities and for businesses to find people to help them expand.

The Baby Show with Lidl GB

14–16 April, Manchester Central

The touring show arrives in Manchester in the middle of April and is a showcase for all things related to babies, from pregnancy and childbirth to those first steps.

UKTTA Tattoo Convention

22–23 April, Birmingham NEC

What was a pretty underground industry 20 years ago is now a multi-billion powerhouse of the cosmetic sector. It’s where all the latest techniques and ideas are on show alongside piercing and other body mods.

Retail Technology Show

26–27 April, London Olympia

Retail is going through some incredible changes, with technology driving an industry-wide revolution in the sector. If you’re in retail technology, you simply have to exhibit here, not only to show off your products and services, but also to keep a close eye on the direction of travel in the industry.

The Baby Show with Lidl GB

12–13 May, Birmingham NEC

Another industry that’s aimed at a highly lucrative industry, the Baby Show covers everything to do with pregnancy, childbirth and early years care. Whether it’s health and fitness or the best buggies, you can show here if you’re in the industry.

DTX Manchester

17–18 May, Manchester Central

With everything you could ever need to know about digital transformation, this event brings a hugely diverse set of presenters and exhibitors to show how you can disrupt things using digital technologies.

The Scottish Homebuilding & Renovating Show

21–21 May, Scottish Event Campus, Glasgow

The expo that brings together representatives of the whole construction and renovation industry for the domestic setting. It’s growing year on year as more people are inspired by TV shows about doing up homes, and is a great place for businesses in the industry to show what they can offer.

Ideal Home Show Scotland

26–29 May, Scottish Event Campus, Glasgow

The most famous exhibition dedicated to the domestic setting, the Ideal Home Show Scotland features the latest designs, innovations and movers & shakers in the interior decor and gardens sector.

Newport Brick Festival

27 May, International Convention Centre Wales

If you love Lego, this is one of the most important conventions going. It’s not just for builders, of course – if you’re in the Lego game, and it’s one of the most successful toys in history, it’s a perfect place to exhibit.

UK Games Expo

2–4 June, Birmingham NEC

Tabletop gaming is one of those industries that doesn’t get a lot of mainstream press, but the fact that it can keep the NEC busy for three days is testament to its popularity. It’s perfect for showing your game ideas (or if you’re in the table industry!).

BBC Good Food Show Summer

15–18 June, Birmingham NEC

You’ll find all the top BBC food presenters doing talks and demonstrations, and it’s the perfect opportunity to set up a stand if you’re in the food and drink industry, especially consumer-facing.

BBC Gardener’s World Live

15–18 June, Birmingham NEC

Monty Don and friends will be talking all things gardening, with plenty of Q&A sessions, demonstrations and exhibitors showing their green-fingered wares.
